Fujian Province Plans To Cultivate 12 100 Billion Industrial Clusters Within Five Years

Recently, the Economic and Trade Commission of Fujian Province issued the Policy on Accelerating the Construction of Industrial Clusters and Industrial Bases Industry Implementation Opinions on Leaping Forward Development, which proposes the goal of striving to form 12 100 billion industrial clusters (bases) and several 50 billion level industrial clusters (bases) within five years, forming an important base for advanced manufacturing in the eastern coastal areas, and promoting Fujian Province to become a strong province in industry.

Fujian Province requires the cultivation and expansion of 38 key industrial clusters, 21 growth industrial clusters and bases identified for industrial adjustment and revitalization, and the acceleration of the formation of Pingtan Comprehensive Experimental Zone, Sanduao Ring, Luoyuan Bay, Jiangyin Peninsula, the north and south banks of Meizhou Bay, Xiamen Bay, Gulei Peninsula, Wuyi New Area and Sanming Ecological Industry and Trade Zone Industrial support for ten new growth regions, including Longyan Industrial Cluster. Among them, Pingtan Comprehensive Experimental Zone focuses on the development of high-tech industries, trade processing industry (Taiwan's deep processing of semi-finished products), marine industry (aquatic processing, ship building, refined agriculture and fishery) and modern service industry, and strives to make breakthroughs in Fujian Taiwan cooperation industries such as panel, electric vehicle, bicycle manufacturing, and refined food processing.

The Minjiang Estuary is concentrated Electronic information , petrochemical, metallurgy, automobile spin , shipbuilding and other port related industries, promote the catalytic pyrolysis (CPP) of Sinochem Fuqing Jiangyin heavy oil Fuzhou Southeast Electrochemical Relocation, Fuzhou Yaolong Chemical Relocation and Reconstruction, Taiwan Dingyuan Fuzhou LED Industrial Base, Fuzhou Metal Deep Processing, Changle Textile, Southeast Automobile Phase III and Phase IV, Fuzhou High tech Zone Construction and other projects have fostered and expanded key industrial clusters such as displays, computers and peripherals, automobiles and parts, textiles, plastics and metal deep processing.

Fujian Province proposes to strive to form Meizhou Bay petrochemical industry cluster and Gulei within 5 years petrifaction Industrial cluster, electronic information industrial cluster of Xiamen Torch High tech Zone, photoelectric display industrial cluster of Fuqing Rongqiao Development Zone, Fuzhou metal deep processing industrial cluster, Changle textile and clothing industrial cluster, Quanzhou textile industrial cluster, Quanzhou sporting goods industrial cluster, Jiangyin Industrial Cluster, Fuzhou High tech Zone, Quanzhou Taiwanese Investment Zone Putian Shimen'ao Industrial Park and other 12 100 billion industrial clusters (bases).

To this end, Fujian Province requires that efforts be made to promote the implementation of 950 projects with a total investment of 580 billion yuan in the implementation plan for the adjustment and revitalization of key industries, especially the implementation of 113 key projects under construction with an investment of more than 500 million yuan, of which 30 projects planned to be put into production this year should focus on coordinated promotion. Take the market as the industry, vigorously cultivate and expand the six strategic emerging industries, including new energy, new materials, biology and new medicine, energy conservation and environmental protection, information network and marine economy, and strive to increase the output value of the six emerging industries by more than 25% annually during the "12th Five Year Plan" period, so as to quickly form a batch of strategic emerging industry clusters with independent core technologies, a certain market size and economic benefits.

Fujian Province will also promote the high-level grafting with central enterprises, and highlight 44 industrial projects under construction, early stage and planning in Fujian Province, with a total investment of 182.4 billion yuan. Promote the in-depth docking of Fujian and Taiwan industries, and focus on industries that are separated from the Yangtze River Delta and the Pearl River Delta, such as steel, petrochemical, machinery, panel, agricultural product processing, producer services, and emerging industries such as new energy, electric vehicles, information networks, industrial design, and high-end manufacturing.
