China Leather Association: "13Th Five-Year" Blueprint Touches People'S Hearts

The "13th Five-Year" period is the decisive stage for building a well-off society in an all-round way. It is also the key window period for the upgrading and development of leather industry in China. The direction of development in 13th Five-Year will directly determine the sustainable development of China's leather industry in the future.

In May 9th, guests and representatives from all parts of the country came from all over the country. They had not yet wiped away their exhaustion. They anxiously carried forward the expectations and concerns for the next five years, and came to the "13th Five-Year" development guidance (Draft) seminar.

The forum was chaired by Li Yuzhong, executive vice president and Secretary General of the China Leather Association.

At the beginning of the conference,

Ye Xiangju, deputy secretary general, first introduced the compilation, main basis and basic framework of the "13th Five-Year development guidance" for leather industry.

She pointed out that the draft has been prepared for more than two years, and has been strongly supported by all industry colleagues, especially the local associations, the featured regions, research institutes and enterprises.

In the course of compiling, the China Leather Association has set up a project preparation team headed by the chairman, and the leaders of the association and the heads of the special committees participate in the compilation.

The drafting work is based on a comprehensive analysis of the state's macro policies, economic environment and the development of the industry, and based on the comprehensive judgement of the future development trend of the industry. The guiding ideology is to thoroughly implement the spirit of the eighteen and eighteen third, fourth and fifth plenary sessions of the party, and deeply connect with the outline of the thirteenth five year plan for national economic and social development.

"Light industry" 13th Five-Year "planning guidance" (to be released), we should fully grasp the key nodes of 13th Five-Year to build a well-off society in an all-round way, guided by the five development concepts of innovation, coordination, green, openness and sharing, and integrate into the three major strategies of the state (the development belt, the Yangtze River economic belt, the Beijing Tianjin Hebei coordinated development), adhere to the market orientation, take innovation drive as the core, improve quality and efficiency, and enhance total factor productivity as the main line, push forward the supply side reform, and push the industry to move from the medium to high speed growth stage to the middle and high-end structure.

The chairman of the China Leather Association pointed out that when the meeting was concluded, the delegates put forward that the draft should reflect the status quo of the industry in line with the overall objectives of the country, and the development goals should have clear quantitative indicators. Specific measures should be taken to implement the objectives, avoid vague concepts, refine the contents, and increase the contents of the standard system construction. These views are valuable, highly pertinent and of great reference value. Next, the revision of the draft will be closely centered on these suggestions, and strive to make the leather industry "13th Five-Year development guidance" play a guiding role in the pformation and upgrading of the industry and become a guide document for the industry.
